Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord--Colossians 3:16.

The overarching goal of the music ministry is to use music to bring people to God and to uplift souls in the Christian Faith. Just as music had a major impact on Saul (see 1 Samuel 16:23) and other documented Christians in the Bible, the ministry believes that music can have both a therapeutic and spiritual effect on every Christian.

Although the music ministry began with a handful of diligent and passionate Christians, it has blossomed into a powerful group that is constantly working to support the Godly goals of Gloryland Assembly of God.

The membership of the group is diverse and all-encompassing, including men, women, and young adults from different cultural and geographical backgrounds. The ministry’s hardworking instrumentalists also complement the efforts of the singers to make song ministration a fulfilling experience.  

Although music is the primary activity of the ministry, the leadership of the group also seeks a lot of benefits for its members, which include:

• Teaching about leadership principles
• Teaching about the foundational tenets of spiritual growth
• Teaching about effective and safe lifestyle choices, and
• Teaching about responsible life choices and decision-making

There is always room for growth and blessing, so willing ministers are always invited to join.
